The JWE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating the community for working Jewish women. The Jewish Woman Entrepreneur (The JWE), provides women with the resources and connections they need to achieve their personal and professional goals. Through education, community and mentorship, The JWE cultivates financial independence; improving the lives of the women we support and the Jewish community at large.

The JWE was founded in 2011 by Chaya Fishman. She realized that starting and building a business can be a daunting task, especially for observant women, many with little access to education or resources. Since then, The JWE hosts an annual business conference, 1-1 mentorship, city chapters, and an online community of women helping each other advance their professional goals.
